The rector of the church, Canon Alan Race, and Ian Wilson, headmaster of St Margaret’s Primary, have declared it a great success. At time of writing, three year groups from the school have enjoyed exploring the history of the building. For details, please contact Alan Race via stmargaretslee.org.uk
Church Trailing
A Church Trail is to be used by children aged between 8 and 12 when they visit a Church either on a school visit or with family members and is designed to complement the National Curriculum requirements on Religious Studies. The Trail guides the children round the Church, getting them to focus on a dozen or so of the most interesting items in the Church, encouraging them to look, think about what they have seen, count things, do drawings and generally make discoveries for themselves.
